Welcome to Blackburn Childrens Gala Day website

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each member of last years committee for all their hard work and congratulate them for making our 2010 civic week and gala day one to remember yet again, I thank everyone who has supported the Gala fundraising events and activities such as:

The Christmas Ball, The Race Night and The Disco's,

I would also like to thank all the individuals and companies who have given donations, provided transport and by advertising in our Gala Day programme. And last but by no means least all individuals for helping in the door to door collection, making up the Gala Day bags and all their support behind the scenes.

I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did and look forward to 2011 Gala.

We are always on the the look out for new committee members and are in need of some assistance from the public as our committee is small and needing help in all areas to continue being able to allow the galaday  to keep going. As i am sure most people would agree that our  Gala is a brilliant day  and with our centenary coming up in 2011 we want to keep this going.
